Mail Call

     After a 2 day weekend of no mail, it was a nice surprise to open my mail box and see I'd gotten a few freebies I'd signed up for a few weeks ago!  I love signing up for the daily freebies because I not only get to try a product, or add it to my already stock pile of that said item, there usually is a coupon attached to the freebie (and it always brings a smile to my face to get something other then bills in the mail!)

     I got a dispenser and 15 free doggie bags from Bags on Board with a $2.00 coupon and a trial size packet of Folgers coffee!  There was no coupon in my Folgers freebie =(  Anyway I'm thankful to all the company's out there that have these freebie offers!

Free Copy Paper @ Office Depot

     If you print as many good deals and coupons from your printer like I can, paper and ink can get spendy! So when you find a good deal on those which are crucial to your coupon plan you have to snag it!  Here's a deal i found in the Office Depot circular this week that my hubby will be getting when he heads to Costco =)

     Pick up a package of Hammermill copy paper for $6.79.  Add their in circular coupon for 20% off and you'll be paying $5.43.  Then a Mail in Rebate prints off on your receipt and you'll get a visa gift card to use anywhere for $5.79 (yes making you a $0.36 profit)

Happy Memorial Day Everyone!

     I just want to send a Happy Memorial Day out there to everyone!  And a thank you to all our military both past, current, and future!  I am a proud (new) army wife and I am thankful for this country and all it has allowed to do and be.  Hopefully that BBQ you'll be firing up throughout the day has some free or cheap hot dogs on it and some other deals scored by coupons?  What deals did you score over the past few weeks for today's celebration?

No Coupon Insterts This Sunday!

Just a friendly (yet sad) reminder that this Sunday, there will be no coupon inserts in either of the papers!  The reason being: Memorial Day.  There usually isn't any coupons in a "holiday" paper!  So use it as a "day of rest" or a time to actually clean out your binder like you know it needs to be!  End of the month always leaves binders with expired coupons!  Also remember if you have expired coupons I send mine in for our Military overseas!  If you'd like to send me your coupons that's fine, just let me know!  Have a wonderful (rainy) Friday!

A Welcome && an Introduction =)

     I've lived in Idaho for, well come June, 20 years but even though I'm in with the natives and love my state I've only recently started "extreme couponing" and along my short journey I've ran into a few small problems....there's not much out there that I've found for trading coupons in my area. I live in Nampa, and right now I'm swamped with coupons I won't be using but I really don't wanna toss um out.  My solution......trade. Swap. Barter. Whatever word you want to use for it, if you live around here and have coupons you don't know what to do with then here is a place for you to connect, and find people to swap with for a coupon you CAN use =) We do not allow charging people "clipping" fee's on this blog, so please keep that in mind.  If I see it I give fare warning you will get blocked from the blog.  On that note, I want to say welcome, hello and thank you for taking this coupon journy with me in a state that never doubles!

      I will be posting what coupons I have on the side link Trade Post!  Feel free to post your list along with mine and add an e-mail address so that we can all start connecting and swaping =)
